Loopware Lifetime Guarantee

Who gives this guarantee

This guarantee is given by Palm & Pine Living Limited (company no. 16983434), Flat 3, 26 Craven Street, London WC2N 5NT ("Loopware", "we", "us").

What it applies to

Loopware stainless steel food containers, made from food-grade AISI 304 / 18-8 stainless steel, bought from us for delivery in the United Kingdom.

What "lifetime" means

"Lifetime" means for as long as you — the original purchaser — own the container and use it normally for ordinary domestic food storage. It does not mean your own lifetime, and it ends when you sell, give away or dispose of the container.

This guarantee is personal to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. We may ask you for proof of purchase before acting on a claim.

What this guarantee covers

Genuine defects in materials or workmanship — for example a structural or weld failure, a material defect, or abnormal corrosion of the steel arising under normal domestic use.

What this guarantee does not cover

• Normal wear and tear, and the natural ageing of the product.
• The lid's fit. With everyday use the friction-fit of the lid may gradually change. A gradual change in the lid's fit that does not stop the container closing or performing as intended is normal wear and is not covered. (If within a reasonable time the lid fails so that the container no longer closes as it should, that is different — please contact us; that may be a defect.)
• Scratches, dents, discolouration and minor production marks — these are not defects.
• Damage from misuse, accident, drops, modification, repair by anyone other than us, commercial or non-domestic use, or any use the product was not designed for.

How to make a claim

Email [email protected] with your proof of purchase and a description and photo of the issue. We may ask you to return the item (we will arrange this) before we resolve the claim.

What we will do

Where a claim is valid, we will — at our option — repair the item, replace it with the same or a comparable product, or refund it.

Your statutory rights

This guarantee is in addition to, and does not limit or replace, your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. As a consumer you are always entitled to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and to the statutory remedies if they are not — and nothing in this guarantee, including the exclusions above, affects those rights. Returns and "change of mind"

This guarantee is separate from your right to return an item. You can return an item you have changed your mind about, free, within 30 days of receiving your order, and you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order. Full details are on our Returns page.
